The Nottingham School has a full time school nurse, Martha Smith, who has worked in Nottingham since 1991. Martha is a Registered Nurse and has extensive experience working with children.
Health services provided by the school nurse include:

maintaining a cumulative health record and immunization record on each student

screenings that include vision, hearing, height, weight, postural

illness and injury assessment

First Aid
-
medication administration during the school day

provide ongoing support of children with acute or chronic health conditions

creating and managing Individual Health Care Plans and 504 Plans

collaboration with students, staff, parents and medical providers in providing health care

health and wellness education for students and staff

collaboration with local, regional and statewide health agencies

collaboration in providing School Based Dental Health Program
