Fall Sports and Winter Sports Update!

Now that Soccer, Volleyball and Cross Country are nearing the end of their season…it’s time to think about Basketball!!

If you are interested in playing basketball for the Nottingham School, we carry four teams: A JV & Varsity for Girls Basketball and a JV & Varsity for Boys Basketball.  At this time, sign-ups are open for grades 6–8 only. We participate in the Southeast League, which includes the towns of Barrington, Deerfield, Epsom, Northwood, Strafford and Pembroke.

Sign-ups are currently open with basketball tryouts slated for Mon., 11/03/2025 and Fri., 11/07/2025 as follows:

  • Girls' tryouts are 2:30–4:30
  • Boys' tryouts are 4:30–6:30

Players are expected to attend both tryouts.

This is a change from the original notice that came out due to High School family Tours at Coe-Brown and Dover High School in the middle of the week.

The sign-up link is listed below.  The sign–up link will be closed by Thursday Oct. 30th so we can cross-check the required sports forms and sports physicals.

In order to participate in sports, there are a few forms that need to be completed prior to being eligible to participate in school sports.  If you have already completed the forms listed below for Fall Sports — you do not need to complete them again — they are only needed once for each school year.  These following forms are all digital forms and will be sent to each grade level email group and include the following:

Additionally, your student/athlete will need to have a current, up-to-date sports physical on file with the school nurse in order to participate in practices or tryouts. So please, be sure there is a current sports physical on file with the school nurse, Stasia Cardillo, prior to Friday, October 31st. Once a student/athlete is signed up, I will cross-reference with forms from last year as well.

The sports webpage has a number of links to area Urgent Care or Sports medicine facilities that offer walk-in sports physicals for a small fee if you are unable to get into your primary medical care provider prior to the start of school.

Click on any of the facilities listed below to be directed to their website:

Look forward to seeing you out on the court this winter!

GO KNIGHTS!!!
