Kindergarten Screening
May 23, 2025
Your child will be invited to either the first or second orientation and screening session, depending on the first letter of your child’s last name. Please plan to arrive approximately 10 minutes before the designated time. You and your child will be escorted to a classroom(s) for screening. After the children are brought to the screening room, the Kindergarten teachers will give a brief presentation to parents. Please bring questions for the teachers! Parents do not remain at school during the rest of the screening time.
Through this screening process, our hope is to get to know your child a little better as well as have your child become familiar with our school and some of our staff. A few weeks after screening, parents will be sent a brief summary regarding their child’s participation in the screening as well as some information to better prepare them for the transition in the fall.
