A message from Mr. Doherty:

September 2024

Now that Fall Sports are well under way, please be sure to come out and support our Knights as we compete against our Southeast League opponents in Cross Country, Volleyball and Soccer.

Within the next few weeks, I will be sending out reminders to sign-up for WInter Basketball.  The season begins on Dec. 3rd with our first games.....so tryouts will likely be the 2nd week of November.....with regular practices beginning immediately after tryouts.  The exact date for basketball tryouts will be released in just a few days.

In order to participate in sports there are a few forms that need to completed prior to being eligible to participate in school sports.  If you have already completed these forms for Fall Sports - You do not need to complete them again - only one time for each school year.  These following forms are all digital forms and will be sent to each grade level email groups and include the following:

  1. Permission to Participate Waiver
  2. Student Health Questionnaire Form
  3. Parent/Athlete Concussion Information Form

Additionally, your student/athlete will need to have a current, up to date sports physical on file with the school nurse in order to participate in practices or tryouts... so please, be sure there is a current sports physical on file with the school nurse, Stasia Cardillo, prior to Aug. 28, 2023. Once a student/athlete is signed I will cross-reference with forms from last year as well.

The sports webpage has a number of links to area Urgent Care or Sports medicine facilities that offer walk-in sports physical for a small fee if you are unable to get into your primary medical care provider prior to the start of school.

Click on any of the the facilities listed below to be directed to their website:

Enjoy the rest of Fall Sports and see you on the soccer fields, the volleyball courts and the cross country courses this Fall!
