Assessment Overview

The following assessments are administered throughout the school year:

September:  Benchmark Math and Literacy testing; Gr. K-8 Use AimsWeb Plus
October:  NWEA MAP tests for Reading and Math Grades 2-8.
On-Going:  Core Reading and Math program weekly/chapter/unit tests
On-Going:  Progress monitoring probes for students identified for intervention or on watch list
January:  NWEA for Gr. 7 and 8 students and targeted students Gr. 2-6; students benchmarked with K-8)
April-May:  Statewide Assessment System: State testing for all students in Grades 3-8 in Reading, Writing, Math and Science (Grades 5 and 8).
May-June:  NWEA MAP tests for Reading and Math, Grades 2-6; Gr. K-8 AimsWeb Plus
